I am: 15 years old.

My Birthday: April 15th, 2007.

I Moved to the Project: in 2019.

My Family: I have 1 brother who is 7 years younger than me. He lives with my parents. My dad repairs shoes, and my mom makes tortillas to sell.

My Grade: I am in 6th grade. I go to school on-site at the Manuelito Project.

My Favorite Subject in School: Math. I enjoy school.

My Career Goal: I would love to be a fireman.

My Personality:  I am a very sweet, friendly, humble, cooperative, hard-working, respectful boy. My smiles, laughs, and hugs are infectious! I love others and truly enjoy the company of other people. I am outgoing and have fun making people laugh; whether it is by dancing, doing cartwheels, tickling, or trying to jump out and scare someone!

My Favorite Hobbies: I like playing Uno, painting, and playing on the playground. I am learning to play sports better, and I am especially good at volleyball. I also play soccer and basketball. I enjoy helping people with their schoolwork and homework (especially math). I find delight in taking pictures and being in front of the camera!

Normal Responsibilities: Cutting the grass, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning the boy’s dorm area, mopping the dining hall, and picking up the trash.

What Do I Like Better – Cats or Dogs?: Dogs!

My Favorite Foods: Hamburgers and fried chicken. I don’t like pizza.

Idea of a Great Day: When I can play all day – especially sports!

The Manuelito Project provides a home, food, clothing, education and lots of love to roughly 35 former homeless children, many who chose the streets to escape a life of abuse. The campus is located in Talanga, Honduras. An on-site school also provides free education and meals to impoverished children from Talanga. At the Manuelito Project, there are teachers and house parents for the children who live there serving around the clock while managing to raise a family of their own. Their ability to stay in Honduras and serve depends upon donors from the Journey North (Impact’s founder) and other churches across America.
